We checked in with UNCG School of Health and Human Sciences’ resident pandemic expert, Dr. Jennifer Toller Erausquin, to help extract fact from fiction. Erausquin is an associate professor in the Department of Public Education and a social epidemiologist who studies the way social determinants ― such as social structures, institutions, and relationships ― affect patterns of disease among populations.
