Louise Vincent, who received her M.P.H. from UNCG in 2013, is currently the executive director of the North Carolina Survivors Union, a harm-reduction and syringe service program in Greensboro, NC. Through Vincent’s advocacy, her work is saving the lives of thousands of opioid users in our community. You can read more about the impact that Vincent and the organization are making in this NPR interview, ‘To save lives, overdose antidote should be sold over-the-counter, advocates argue’.

Promote. Engage. Change. It’s how our alumni make an impact in the field of public health—every day!
