Public health Undergraduate Minor
Public health is a rapidly growing and essential field that addresses complex health challenges at the individual, community, and societal levels. The public health minor provides students across disciplines with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, analyze, and respond to pressing health concerns locally, nationally, and globally.
An undergraduate minor in Public Health pairs well with majors such as biology, psychology, nursing, social work, political science, kinesiology, business, human health sciences, human development and family studies, nutrition, sport management and recreational therapy, and more.
A minor in public health will advance interdisciplinary learning, contributes to workforce readiness, and supports UNCG’s mission and strategic goals. To review Public Health minor requirements, visit the UNCG Catalog website.
Important Information for Minors
