UNCG, in partnership with NC A & T and Guilford College, will be hosting Celebrate Juneteenth 2022 with events scheduled for Friday, June 17th, and Monday, June 20th.
“A Sober Conversation About Juneteenth” will be held on Friday at 2 pm and facilitated by Nakia Hoskins and Brian Robinson.
Monday’s event will feature the following guests:
- Josephus Thompson, Poet
- UNCG Jazz Quartet
- Jonovan Cooper & The Good Band
- Spoken Word Performances
All events will take place at the Weatherspoon Art Gallery, 1005 Spring Garden Street and are free and open to the public!
