In Memoriam of Dr. Kay Lovelace

Kay Lovelace

It was with great sadness that we mourned the loss of Dr. Kay Lovelace in late November.  Kay, an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Education, worked at UNCG for over 25 years. Kay embodied a steadfast commitment to organizational change.

As a colleague of Kay expressed – her passion and hope for change – not just that we must change but also that we can change – grounded Kay‘s sensibility within the world. Her bright smile and deeply caring personality will be greatly missed.

Kay suffered from a rare neurological condition that resulted in her rapid decline and peaceful passing. There will be a celebration of Kay’s life at a later date and we will share more information as it becomes available.

As you gather with others this holiday season, we ask that you keep Kay’s spirit for change in your life and for our society.
