Michelle Martin Romero

The inaugural class of CFRN fellows is compromised of three talented faculty from the School of Health and Human Sciences. It includes Dr. Bridget Cheeks (Human Development and Family Studies), Dr. Michelle Martin-Romero (Public Health Education), and Dr. Kierra Sattler (Human Development and Family Studies). These three scholars’ strong applications fit with our theme this year of ‘Resilience in Minoritized Children and Families’.

These fellows will meet each month with the CFRN co-directors to develop interdisciplinary research collaborations on UNCG’s campus and work towards a grant submission within the next year. We look forward to growing this fellowship program!
