Amanda Clark, who received her MPH in 2018, has been named Guilford County’s first Drug and Injury Prevention Manager.
Regina McCoy, professor in the Department of Public Health Education and co-Director of UNCG Health Coach Training Center, was recently featured on Triad Today, the area’s only locally produced public affairs program.

UNCG has joined the collegiate esports movement with a new $2.4 million arena, but students aren’t the only ones in the game. Building on a strong portfolio of athlete health and wellness research, UNCG scientists are also stepping out onto the field to study gamer health and wellness.
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, the senior class of students in the Public Health Education, Community Health Education concentration, and the majority of students in HEA 312-01 Public Health and Healthcare Systems, attended the annual “Pink in the Park” Event.
It is an honor and privilege to be selected to serve the City as its first Public Health Advisor. While COVID-19 will continue to be an important public health priority for the near future, I look forward to working with the community on other critical public health issues and the vision toward a healthier Phoenix.
