Workplace Wellness, Post Baccalaureate Certificate
Overview
The post-baccalaureate certificate in Workplace Wellness at UNC Greensboro prepares individuals to work with employers, employees, policymakers, and brokers or consultants to improve employee safety, health, and well-being. As an asynchronous program, it offers flexibility for people who are currently employed and want to build their knowledge of workplace wellness while balancing their professional responsibilities.
Students learn from professionals in the field and develop skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate workplace well-being and safety initiatives. Graduates are prepared for employment in health systems, private companies, city and county governments, universities, and workplace wellness consulting firms.
The certificate can also strengthen qualifications and expand career opportunities for individuals with degrees in health education, exercise science, nutrition, nursing, gerontology, interior architecture, community recreation, and business administration.
