Public Health Education doctoral student Mohammed Jibriel is one of 43 national recipients of the 2024 BMe Vanguard Awards. Jibriel intends to use his grant to support a youth program at the Sudan House in Greensboro. The organization promotes cultural understanding and integration between Americans and Sudanese immigrant and refugee communities. Jibriel was nominated for the grant by Interfaith America.
