Congratulations to UNCG PHE doctoral student Kelley Massengale, for her recent win of the “Best Poster Presentation” award!
The title of her poster was “Building Parent-Child Relationships in The Face of Diaper Need: The Role of a Community-Based Diaper Bank.” Her co-authors were Dr. Jennifer Toller Earausquin and Michelle Old, her community partner. This project was largely driven by Kelley. Congratulations to all!
What is the Diaper Bank of North Carolina?
The Diaper Bank of North Carolina is a community organization working with our local communities to address the issue of diaper need. The Diaper Bank works in conjunction with existing family-support organizations to distribute diapers to low-income families. The Diaper Bank also hosts donation drives and welcomes volunteers to assist in their mission.
